Sustainable, circular solutions for your clothes!
The A-GAIN GUIDE promotes the use and reuse of local resources, strengthens regional networks and infrastructures and gives the actors of recycling - our #Textilrettern - the visibility they deserve.
We help you wear your clothes again - and love them longer!
Why do we need the A-GAIN GUIDE?
We dream of a world where clothing is valued, used for longer, and treated sustainably. Our mission is to extend the lifespan of our clothing and reduce the environmental pollution caused by the production of new textiles or textile waste from clothes that are disposed of prematurely. Our goal is to make sustainable, circular solutions accessible to everyone.
Together, we can create closed loops by donating our clothes properly, repairing them, and having new items made from old ones. This way, used or unused garments can gain new value and continue their journey – A-GAIN & A-GAIN.
Our Vision
Imagine cities where clothing is worn, repaired, swapped, resold, and loved for as long as possible. In these vibrant metropolises, thriving repair shops, inspiring swap meets, and creative textile craft businesses can be found on every corner. People experience emotional connections to their clothing and its stories again – they appreciate the uniqueness and memories that each piece brings with it.
We are creating a network of cities that share resources, knowledge, and infrastructure to strengthen a newly gained mainstream culture of reuse. To make this vision a reality, we need a powerful movement for fashion repair and reuse – in the spirit of our slogan: Wear it again. Love it longer.

Who is behind the platform?
Behind the A-GAIN GUIDE is a dedicated team that is passionate about sustainable fashion and environmental awareness.
The project is supported by the Circular Berlin association and has been developed together with co-founders Stefanie Barz and Alessandra-Isabel Hager from LoopLook and partners Cecilia Palmér, Büro Bum Bum and NEW STANDARD.STUDIO since 2021, partly with funding from the BEK program.
In 2025, the platform was replicated for the first time in Hamburg and funded by the Hamburg Ministry for the Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture (BUKEA). Here, the following sponsors and partners are committed to disseminating and publicizing the A-GAIN GUIDE.
105 Viertel
105 Viertel is a social enterprise with the aim of making Hamburg the most liveable city - for all people in all 105 districts. To this end, there are already charitable activities in the areas of art and culture, education, inclusion and ecological sustainability. In the long term, the aim is to cover all areas that can have a positive impact on the quality of life in Hamburg.
Project Consortium
We would like to thank our partner organizations for their intensive support during the planning, implementation and promotion of the project.
